Eight more test positive for swine flu
TNN | Feb 22, 2019, 04:00 ISTSurat: Eight new swine flu cases were registered on Thursday — seven in Surat city area and one from Surat district area. With this total number of H1N1 affected people in Surat has climbed to 77 with one death since January. The number of H1N1 affected patients in Surat rural has gone to 12 with two deaths during the same period.
The new patients include one-year-old girl from Bamroli, 65-year-old man from Piplod, 69-year-old female from Citylight area, 63-year-old female from Yogi chowk, 65-year-old female from Puna Gam, 60-year-old female from Sarthana and 42-year-old male from Katargam. A 65-year-old male from Mandvi town of Surat district was also infected by the virus.
Four patients who receiving treatment in different hospitals of the city were discharged as their condition improved. However, 18 were still under treatment in different hospitals of the city.
