Trending in TN: Kid refuses to hug MS Dhoni, cat locked in a room and dirty sneakers by Gucci
Chennai: Kid who refused to hug Mahendra Singh Dhoni might regret his ‘decision’ later in life
There are some things in life you grow up to regret and you might blame it on others. But this little boy has no one to blame for what he might grow up to realise is his biggest regret. The toddler turned down the chance to hug MS Dhoni. It all began when Mahi played a charity football game in Juhu, Mumbai earlier this week, ahead of the India vs Australia 2019 series. Just as he was surrounded by fans who demanded selfies and autographs; a toddler caught Dhoni’s attention. In the video which is being spread over the internet, you can see the star cricketer reach for the child, asking- “Aaoge.” But blame it on a bad mood or the crowd, but the kid started crying.
Shoes for ‘rich who don’t have time to get dirty’, say netizens as Gucci sells ‘dirty sneakers’
Gucci is facing flak for a pair of “dirty” shoes. Described as ‘A pastiche of different influences that span across decades’ and ‘materials inspired by vintage sportswear’, the sneakers are priced at £ 615 (INR 57,078). The shoe, which features the Gucci’s vintage logo and has an allover distressed effect, caught people’s attention. “What do you make of these ‘dirty’ trainers Gucci are selling for a mere £615? Bargain, right?!” tweeted Jeremy Vine along with a picture of the shoes.

Cat helps unlock door for its owner, Tweeple hail him as ‘hero’
A cat is winning hearts online after it helped its owner enter her home. As it happened, college student Gabby Tropea found herself mistakenly locked her out of the house. When she tried to enter through the back door, she found it closed. But thanks to her cat, it helped her open the door. In a video posted by Tropea on Twitter, the cat removed a wooden stick and managed to unlock the sliding door.
