You know that scene in Jurassic Park when Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm has an existential crisis about what's going down at the park?

"Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should," he says.

He was actually probably talking about this new Papa John's product. The pizza chain has decided to put chicken and waffles on a pizza, because who even cares anymore.

Apparently Papa John's came to the decision after letting its customers vote on a new pizza, so honestly, this is all our own fault. 

The "hot honey chicken and waffles" pizza will reportedly have "crispy chicken, waffle crumbles, bacon, cheese, and a finger licking drizzle of spicy honey."

We'd suggest putting a cardiologist on speed dial before you order this one.

This travesty will be on menus later this year, according to Papa John's.
