“Huawei is all set to launch the P30 and P30 Pro in Paris on March 26th”
Huawei recently confirmed that its upcoming flagship series – P30, P30 Pro and P30 Lite on March 26th in Paris. These smartphones are no more a mystery thanks to the number of leaks and rumours in the past. Now, the CEO of Huawei’s consumer business group, Richard Yu (Yu Chengdong) has unintentionally revealed the camera setup on the P30 Pro.
The top executive recently took to his Weibo account to post a camera smoke taken from the upcoming flagship. The image taken is of moon to celebrate the Chinese Lantern Festival. However, it’s the watermark on the bottom left corner which catches our attention. Yu has tried to mask several letters in the watermark to hide the identity of the smartphone. The watermark is shown as, “HUAWEI ___ Pro” and “Leica QU__ CAMERA”. The first blurred word could either be P30 or Mate 20, but it’s too short to be Mate 20. Also, in the second line, it doesn’t take a genius to figure what letters follow the ‘QU’. It seems that the atleast the Pro variant will come flaunting a quad-camera module on the rear panel.
To recap on the spec sheet, a recent leak has revealed that the Huawei P30 Pro will come with full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) display. However, there is no word on the display size. The smartphone will be powered by HiSilicon 7nm Kirin 980 chipset and boot the Android 9.0 Pie base EMUI 9 out of the box. In the imaging department, the leaks suggest that P30 Pro will be one of the first phones to come with Sony’s IMX607’s 38MP camera. The primary shooter will be backed by a periscope lens, wide angle sensor and a ToF unit. While the battery specification is not known, Huawei P30 Pro is rumoured to support 40W fast charging.
While other details of the flagship is not known at the moment, the launch is just around the corner. We will bring you more details as and when the handset goes official, so stay tuned.
