Vivo has updated the lineup of its V series smartphone with the launch of Vivo V15 Pro in India. The Vivo V15 Pro is the world’s first smartphone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 SoC chipset ticking at its core. Just like its predecessor the V11 Pro, the new handset flaunts an AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor; however, the ‘Halo’ notch has been replaced by elevating selfie camera as seen on Vivo NEX smartphone. The Vivo V15 Pro sports a truly bezel-less display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 percent. It also has triple rear cameras with a whopping 48-megapixel main sensor.
Vivo V15 Pro price in India
The Vivo V15 Pro price in India is set at Rs 28,990 for the sole 6GB RAM variant. The handset will go on sale across the country from March 6th onwards via both offline stores and e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon.in. The pre-booking starts from today, February 20th. Interested buyers can purchase it in either of the two colour options: Topaz Blue and Ruby Red.

Vivo V15 Pro specifications
On the specifications front, the Vivo V15 Pro dons a plastic unibody design and boots Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 5.0 out of the box. It packs a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340p) resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The handset comes with a fifth on-display fingerprint sensor, which Vivo claims is 25 percent faster than its predecessor.
As stated above, the handset is powered by Snapdragon 675 AIE SoC, which is integrated with Adreno 675 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The phone offers 128GB built-in storage that can be further boosted up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.
In the camera department, Vivo V15 Pro’s triple rear cameras sports 48-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.4) + 5-megapixel (f/2.4) setup. The primary snapper is a Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor that uses Quad Bayer array for clicking good images. For selfies, the phone gets a 32-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GD1 shooter with f/2.0 on the front. The cameras are backed by several modes such as Ultra HD, Professional, Time-Lapse Photography, Camera Filter, Bokeh, AI Face Beauty, AR Stickers, and more.
A 3,700mAh battery with dual-engine fast charging fuels the Vivo V15 Pro. Other features include face unlock, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB port, and connectivity options like 4G LTE, dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0.
