Honda CBR650R Bookings Open In India For ₹15,000 – 5 Things To Know
After waiting almost three years for Honda to reveal their next CBR at the EICMA 2018 in Milan last year. Finally, the wait is over and Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India have started taking bookings for the CBR650R for just ₹15,000 across 22 cities in Honda World dealerships. This is what we know so far about the Honda CBR650R.
Increase in Power
The 649cc liquid cooled four-cylinder, DOHC 16-valve engine which produces 94bhp at 12,000rpm and an improved torque of 64Nm at 8,500rpm.
Improved Braking
It also gets dual-radial mount callipers at the front and a single-piston calliper at the rear, paired with disc brakes for improved stopping power. The motorcycle comes with dual-channel ABS as standard.
Weight Reduction & Suspension
The new CBR650R has lost almost 6kgs of weight and now weighs 208kgs. The CBR650R also has adjustable 41 mm Showa Separate Fork Function (SFF) USD forks.
Fireblade Inspired
Just like the Fireblade, it has an LCD display for the instrument cluster along with a dual LED headlamps lighting setup.
Expected Launch Date & Price
It is expected to launch in the first week of March 2019 and to be priced in the range of ₹7 to 7.5 lakh. There will be two colours options available, Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black.
