Kiwis complete 3-0 whitewash of Bangladesh

New Zealand won the third and final ODI against Bangladesh by 88 runs to complete a 3-0 series whitewash.

While Sabbir Rahman’s century was the saving grace for the visitors during their chase of 331, Ross Taylor’s 69 saw him become New Zealand’s top run-scorer in the format, going past Stephen Fleming’s previous record of 8007.

A goalless night in Champions League

If a football fan in India had stayed up to watch the Champions League action on Tuesday night, they would have been in for a disappointment. For even though giants of the game including Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona were in action, they didn’t score a single goal between them.

Both the Round of 16 first leg matches on Tuesday ended in goalless draws as Bayern held Liverpool nil-nil at Anfield and Barca failed to score away against Lyon.
