Following an order of the National Company Law Appelate Tribunal (NCLAT), retired Supreme Court judge Justice D.K. Jain on Wednesday visited the headquarters of the Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services (IL&FS) here to supervise the operations of the resolution process of IL&FS group companies and met with various officials, the company said.

Earlier this month, the government submitted the debt resolution plan for IL&FS to NCLAT and suggested that Mr. Jain supervise the entire process.

The government has categorised the group companies into green, amber and red, based on their respective financial positions.
