Ludhiana: Civic body employees to observe pen down strike on Thursday
Nidhi Bhardwaj | Feb 20, 2019, 21:36 ISTLUDHIANA: The visitors coming to municipal corporaton offices will have to face certain problems on Thursday as all its employees will observe the pen down strike in support of Punjab ministerial union. The ministerial staff is observing the pen down strike for almost one week against the state government for not fulfilling their demands.
The Punjab state ministerial services union had announced to go on pen down strike on February 13 which was later extended till February 21. The employees have been demanding early release of DA installments, arrears and implementation of 6th pay commission.
The MC employees will also observe the pen down strike on Thursday. However, suvidha center employees will remain on their seats.
