West Bengal charts out dengue action plan

KOLKATA: Chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday held a high-level meeting at Nabanna to tackle the dengue menace across the state.
Officials of health, urban development, education, PHE, panchayat, irrigation, women and child welfare and fisheries were present, along with the mayors of Kolkata and Bidhannagar.
The state has made a vulnerability mapping of the vector-borne disease and found the disease took a toll in nine districts.
