Modern cruise ship reaches Chennai Port

CHENNAI: A modern Bahamas flag cruise vessel arrived at the Chennai port on Monday.
An official release said the vessel with 100 crew and 70 passengers came from Visakhapatnam. It returned to Visakhapatnam on Monday.
The facilities in the cruise ship included jogging track, swimming pool, gym, salon, restaurant, pool grill, lecture room and a panoramic lounge.
The vessel is equipped with 12 zodiac boats and a glass-bottom boat for exploring marine life. The vessel was berthed at the newly modernised cruise passenger facilitation centre at the port, the release said.
