Celebrating its first route launch of the year, Budapest Airport marked the moment it became connected to all London airports when it welcomed LOT Polish Airlines’ new link to London City. This latest expansion significantly makes the Hungarian gateway only the fourth European capital city to have direct access to all six London airports.
Following LOT’s confirmation last week that it will station an E195 at the airport from 2 September, allowing for new multi-daily services to Brussels and Bucharest to be launched, the Star Alliance carrier’s latest link joins successful services to New York JFK, Chicago O’Hare and Krakow.
