Mentha oil futures slip on tepid demand

As per the brokerage Geojit Financial Services, the commodity has strong resistance at Rs 1,680.

NEW DELHI: Mentha oil prices slipped in the domestic futures market on Tuesday on lower demand coupled with adequate arrival from key producing regions.

Around 10:45 am, MCX Mentha oil was at Rs 1,665 per kg, down by Rs 7, or 0.42 per cent.

Speculators trimmed positions in mentha futures, triggered by muted demand from consuming industries at the spot market and adequate stocks on higher supplies from the major producing regions.

As per the brokerage Geojit Financial Services, the commodity has strong resistance at Rs 1,680.
