Ujjain: About one lakh sqft pandal developed at Kartik Mela ground reverberated with chants of Avanti Parshwanath on the sixth day of week-long ‘Avanti Pratishtha Mahotsava’ here on Monday. Installation of deity and Bhagwati diksha rituals was held amid presence of thousands of members of Shwetambar Jain community.
Khartargachhadipati Acharya Jinmaniprabhsurishwar Maharaj attended the mahotsava. Petals were also sprayed at the venue with the help of a helicopter. Organising committee convener Kushalraj Golechha said that rituals like Manak stambh aaropan, Toran vidhan, Pratishtha of Parmatma were organised since morning.
Bhagwati diksha samaroh will be held from 9 am which will be followed by falechunddi, ashtottari shantisnatra mahapujan, aangi bhakti roshni, bhakti sandhy of Rishabh Sethiya, Tanuj Tarana and Hardik Shah. During diksha mahotsava, a youth Shubham Lunkad by name became Muni Mayurprabh Sagar while girl Anshul Deshlahre became Sadhavi Agamruchi.
Publicity in-charge Ritesh Jain said that the temple will be inaugurated on Tuesday. Dwarodghatan will be held at 7 am followed by Dada Gurudev pujan. Aangi bhakti roshni will be held at 7.30 pm, which will be followed by bhakti sandhya. He said that chaturmaas of Jinmaniprabhsurishwar will also be held in Dhuliya, Maharashtra.
