Bihar govt transfers 17 IAS officials

PATNA: The state government has transferred 17 IAS officials, including the divisional commissioners of Koshi and Saran, late Monday night.

Bihar Human Rights Commission (BHRC) secretary Vandana Kini was appointed divisional commissioner of Bhagalpur, replacing Rajesh Kumar, who has been sent to BHRC with additional charge of inquiry commissioner in the General Administration Department (GAD).

Koshi divisional commissioner Safina AN was transferred to Purnia in the same capacity. Till now, she was holding the additional charge of the post. Saran divisional commissioner Narmadeshwar Lal has been shifted to Tirhut. He was holding additional charge of that division.

Lokesh Kumar Singh replaced Lal in Saran. Till now, he was executive director in the state health society with additional charge of health department secretary.

Asangba Chuba Ao was appointed the new Koshi divisional commissioner. Till now, he was posted as secretary-cum-mines commissioner of mines and geology department. He was also holding additional charge of director in mines and geology department and Bihar State Mineral Development Corporation Limited.

Deputy development commissioner (DDC)-cum-chief executive officer (CEO) of district board, Rohtas, Udita Sigh was made joint secretary in GAD while Chhapra DDC-cum-CEO of district board Roshan Kushwaha would be DDC-cum-CEO of district board in Vaishali. Patna sadar SDO Suharsh Bhagat replaced Kushwaha in Chhapra.

Baisi (Purnia) SDO Sawan Kumar was appointed DDC-cum-district board CEO of Nawada. Araria sadar SDO Prashant Kumar CH was made DDC-cum-district board CEO of Munger. Khagaria sadar SDO Manish Kumar Meena will be DDC-cum-district board CEO of Jehanabad.

Siwan sadar SDO Aman Sameer was appointed DDC-cum-district board CEO of Purnia while Bagaha (West Champaran) SDO Ghanshyam Meena was made DDC-cum-district board CEO of Aurangabad. Shahpur Patori (Samastipur) SDO Vijay Prakash Meena has been shifted to Bagaha.

Barh (Patna) SDO Sajjan R was appointed as DDC-cum-district board CEO of Gopalganj while J Priyadarshani was posted as DDC-cum-district board CEO of Begusarai. She was earlier posted as SDO of western Muzaffarpur.

Department of science and technology principal secretary Harjot Kaur Bamhrah has been given additional charge of secretary-cum-mines commissioner of mines and geology department while health department secretary Manoj Kumar would hold additional charge of executive director of state health society.
