Aero India Show: BMTC to operate special buses

BENGALURU: With Aero Show 2019 expected to choke congested Hebbal and Ballary Road from February 20 to 24, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) plans to operate additional buses to and from Yelahanka Air Force Station.
BMTC officials announced that additional buses from different parts of the city from 8am would be operated to help people attending the flying display (10am to 2pm) from February 23 to 24. Special services will be operated from Kempegowda Bus Station, MG Road Metro Station, HSR Layout, HAL Kalyana Mantapa, Banashankari TTMC, Kengeri TTMC, Peenya 2nd Stage, Central Silk Board, Tin Factory, Yeshwantpur TTMC and Hebbal. Fares range from Rs 40 to Rs 50 per passenger.
BMTC officials also urged people to utilise parking facilities at Yeshwantpur TTMC, Shanthinagar TTMC, Jayanagar TTMC, Koramangala TTMC and other TTMCs to park private vehicles and travel in BMTC buses from there.
Passengers can also travel in Vayu Vajra services which ply from different parts of the city.
