A 20-year-old woman fell off the flyover in west Delhi’s Vikaspuri after an unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle she riding on with two others on Monday afternoon.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Monika Bhardwaj said Sapna, from Budela Village, is out of danger and is undergoing treatment at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. “A PCR call was received around 4 p.m. regarding an accident at Vikaspuri flyover. On reaching the spot, the police found that the injured had been taken to the hospital,” she said.
Enquiry revealed that Sapna along with Kunal (18), from Uttam Nagar, and Jia (22), from Dwarka Sector 14, were on the motorcycle at that time. They were coming from Paschim Vihar and heading towards Vikaspuri when the incident happened. She was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Riding pillion
It was also revealed that Kunal was riding the bike while the other two were riding pillion.
Ms. Bhardwaj said the accused is yet to be identified.
