Pakistan's Khanwar Qureshi ​said, "India came to this court demanding provision of measures without a hearing. India hoped that Pakistan wouldn't appear, but it did. Why didn't India notify Pakistan of a dispute?"

Khawar Qureshi claims that the submissions made by India before the International Court of Justice are "shamelessly devoid of substantive argument."

The hearing in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case at the International Court of Justice has been adjourned for 15 minutes.

“India asks for evidence in the case. India provided a passport to Kulbhushan Jadhav under a fake Muslim identity is compelling evidence,” said Pakistan’s Khawar Qureshi.

Qureshi reiterates the questions demanded by Pakistan. "It is a pity that India attempts to block the truth every time."

Pakistan says, "Jadhav's admission includes the following: That he was a serving officer due to retirement in 2022."

"I have had the honour and privilege to represent India in the past, but the incarnation of the country before this court is not one I recognise," Qureshi says. These are proceedings lodged for political theatre and they should be dismissed, Pakistan says.

That Jadhav was kidnapped from Iran is ridiculous, says Pakistan. "India's demand of release and return for Jadhav is a 'modest' claim," Qureshi said.

ICJ Judge says, “The court has noted the concern of Pakistan delegation of an ad hoc judge. The court will respond in due time.”

At the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Pakistan says India’s demand for release of Kulbhushan Jadhav is outlandish. Pakistan’s counsel Qureshi said India didn’t answer questions about Jadhav. “They didn’t tell us at what age Jadhav retire. If there was evidence of his retirement,” he said.

Pakistan’s Khawar Qureshi while accusing India of blatant misrepresentations in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case, said, “Pakistan said the only remedy available for Jadhav is review by Pakistan High Court. But India rejects it, because it believes in all-or-nothing strategy.”

Khawar Qureshi, who is arguing Pakistan’s case at the ICJ, said that Kulbhushan Jadhav confessed before a magistrate. He was convicted under the Official Secrets Act

“India’s case should be rendered inadmissible by court as it is based on flimsy lies. The charges against are concocted and preposterous,” said Pakistan at ICJ.

“We treated Jadhav as it is deemed to every human being. On humanitarian grounds, we allowed his mother and wife to visit him. Can India give a similar example,” said Pakistan’s Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan.
