SLAIN STUDENT REMEMBERED
About 150 people gathered at Kennedy Park on Sunday to remember 17-year-old William Wheeler, who was stabbed to death at 96 Fountain St. just before midnight Feb. 13.

ROUTE 79 ROLLOVER
A 37-year-old Taunton woman was seriously injured but is expected to survive after her Jeep rolled over on Route 79 about 5 p.m. Saturday, according to state police.
The woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of her injuries. The crash occurred in the area of the second northbound off-ramp towards the Veterans Memorial Bridge.
SUICIDE PREVENTION
The number of suicides in Bristol County is growing and so are the frustrations of those working in the mental health field.
Representatives of the Bristol County Regional Coalition for Suicide Prevention, as well as regional mental health professionals and elected officials, were invited to a town hall meeting in Fall River on Saturday to discuss the gap between the programs locally in place and the population they are intended for.
