The State government on Sunday cleared the decks for extending the financial assistance of ₹9,000 per year under the ‘Annadata Sukhibhava’ programme to farmers covered under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PMKSN) scheme.
The amount is in addition to the ₹6,000 provided by the Centre. Other excluded farmer families would be given ₹10,000. An immediate assistance of ₹4,000 would be disbursed by March as per the guidelines . The tenant farmers would be extended the benefit of ₹15,000 per year and the first disbursements would be made during the 2019 kharif season.
