A group of teenagers have been filmed allegedly brandishing an array of knives and fake guns in broad daylight in Melbourne.
The six boys were grouped together on the Esplanade in St Kilda in the city's south-east on Sunday when they were approached by police.
Footage taken from a room above showed officers stripping the teenagers of their weapons, before leading at least two of them into a police van in handcuffs.

Right-wing figurehead Neil Erikson told Daily Mail Australia the incident occurred around early afternoon on Sunday.
'It was right where we had our protest against African crime,' Mr Erikson said.

Eventually a group of up to five police officers confronted the group, separating them to take their names down before stripping them of the weapons.

Police then conducted a thorough search of each member of the group, making them empty their pockets.
Video footage shows the officers talking to the teenagers before taking photos of each of them.
Despite confiscating what appeared to be multiple box-cutter knives and two imitation guns from the group, only two appeared to be arrested.
A spokesperson for Victoria Police confirmed they were investigating after a 'group of youths were found with weapons' in St Kilda.
'Police were called to Acland Street following reports of six males with knives just before 4pm.
'Knives and a cap gun were found on the boys. Two 13-year-old boys from South Yarra and Richmond received a caution notice for possessing a controlled weapon and an imitation firearm,' it added.
Police confirmed another 14-year-old boy, from Richmond, is expected to be charged on summons with possess a controlled weapon.
