Chief Minister Arvind Kejirwal condemned the recent attack on CRPF soldiers in Pulwama, calling it a cowardly and barbaric act perpetrated by Pakistan, while inaugurating development work in Deoli on Sunday.
‘Nation stands united’
“The entire nation is united at this time of need, irrespective of caste, religion, region and everyone wants only one thing: killings by Pakistan on India’s soil must end,” said Mr. Kejirwal, adding that there was a lot of anger among people.
The Chief Minister also said, “Soldiers from every corner of the country have lost their lives in the attack. I consider it an attack on the nation itself. India must give a befitting reply. The country is united today and whatever decision the Prime Minister takes and whatever the Central government decides, they have our support.”
Mr. Kejirwal said that the soldiers put their lives on the line “not for their religion or communities but for the entire country. They dream of an India, which is worthy of being the best in the world, where there is access to quality education, quality healthcare, roads, electricity, water, employment opportunities, etc. This is the India we must strive to become.”
