De Almeida promoted at BayCoast Mortgage Company

SWANSEA/ WESTPORT - BayCoast Mortgage Company LLC announced that Richard De Almeida of Westport, has been promoted to vice president-- mortgage officer.

In this role, he is responsible for originating mortgages and equity loans, maintaining a thorough understanding of mortgage lending guidelines and ensuring compliance with BayCoast Mortgage loan policies and all State and Federal regulations.

De Almeida, who prior to his promotion was an assistant vice president, joined BayCoast nearly 29 years ago. He received an associate degree in business administration from UMASS-Dartmouth, going on to earn his bachelor’s in finance from the university. De Almeida is a graduate of the Babson College Massachusetts School for Financial Studies and has completed two certificate programs from the Massachusetts Bankers Association at Northeastern University.

De Almeida, who is fluent in Portuguese, makes his home in Westport.
