What a sweet way to (belatedly) celebrate nine years of marriage!

Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth got a sweet surprise during the Harlem Globetrotters game on Sunday, which they attended with their 6-year-old son Tennessee.

In a sweet clip from the Los Angeles game, which Witherspoon shared on her Instagram Story, the couple — who celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary last March — were brought out onto the court and asked how long they’d been married.

“Well you know what Reese, we want to make this something that he’ll never forget and that you would never forget either. So what we’re going to do is honor your 9 years of marriage. A teammate and myself, we’re going to serenade you guys to an old school classic by the Temptations, alright?” one of the players told the couple, before launching into a sweet rendition of “My Girl.”

“When the #harlemgloetrotters Serenade you & hubby,” the Big Little Lies star, 42, wrote alongside one video of the pair slow dancing together, while alongside another she added, “So sweet!”

Witherspoon also got her groove on during the game with player Ant Atkinson.

In a clip shared by the Harlem Globetrotters on Twitter, the pair could be seen busted some moves together, before Atkinson abruptly put a stop to the fun, and playfully admonished the actress.

“Reese, there are kids in here,” he joked, as the actress laughed.

Seemingly in response to the Twitter clip, Witherspoon went on to share a screenshot of messages she’d received that night from her teenage son Deacon Phillippe, who didn’t seem that impressed by her dance moves.

“That looks embarrassing,” her son wrote, in a screenshot Witherspoon shared on her Instagram Story. “I’m glad they didn’t have you shoot the ball. That would’ve been more embarrassing.”

“When my teenage son sees video of my dancing…” Witherspoon captioned the photo, adding, “Truth @deaconphillippe.”

Last March, in honor of her wedding anniversary, Witherspoon shared a sweet Instagram post celebrating her “wonderful husband.”

“Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband who keeps me smiling everyday! Here’s to many more adventures together ! I love you , JT,” Witherspoon captioned the photo of the pair.

The actress and talent agent married in 2011 and have a son together, Tennessee. Witherspoon also has two children — daughter Ava Phillippe, 10, and son Deacon Phillippe, 15 —with ex Ryan Phillippe.

Shortly after their 5th wedding anniversary in 2016, the Home Again actress opened up to PEOPLE about some of her husband’s best qualities.

“He’s an incredible man, a wonderful organizer, a great leader. He knows how to get people together,” she said, adding that, “He’s very patient and funny with the kids. And he really encourages them to see the humor in life.”
