New collector takes charge
TNN | Feb 19, 2019, 00:04 ISTK Rajamani took charge as the collector of Coimbatore on Monday. He had initially served in the state civil service as divisional development officer and as project director in District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) before conferred IAS.
The official had served as commissioner and special officer of Thoothukudi city corporation before assuming charge as collector in Trichy.
Rajamani promised to attend the grievance day meetings and find solutions within 15 days. “The state government is implementing many schemes for the welfare of the people. The district administration will ensure that the schemes reach the beneficiaries,” he added. TNN
