The glamorous girlfriend of nightclub identity John Ibrahim has had her trial for possessing an illegal firearm postponed.
Sarah Budge appeared at Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney on Monday morning with her legal team and her brother Jack after she was charged with allegedly possessing a Glock handgun.
The trial had to be postponed as Budge, 29, needs to care for her terminally ill mother.

When NSW Police raided Budge's apartment in Sydney's Double Bay in August 2017 they allegedly found a loaded Glock handgun stored in a wooden box in her bedroom
Judge Helen Syme referred to an affidavit which said Budge's mother was in palliative care and was not expected to live for very long.
'The position of her mother puts her in a position where she is required to assist her mother in her last days,' the judge said. 'I accept that.'

Judge Syme concluded 'there is no way' in those circumstances a fair trial could be held at present.
The case will be mentioned on Friday when a new trial date will be set.

Budge, who owns a bar in Potts Point, initially faced six charges but that number was reduced to three after a deal was agreed between the prosecution and the defence
When NSW Police raided Budge's apartment in Sydney's Double Bay in August 2017 they allegedly found a loaded Glock handgun stored in a wooden box in her bedroom.
The former model began dating Kings Cross nightclub owner Ibrahim in 2014.
Budge, who owns a bar in Potts Point, initially faced six charges but that number was reduced to three after a deal was agreed between the prosecution and the defence.
Her home was raided at the same time as search warrants were executed on a number of Sydney addresses as part of a major investigation into drug supply. It is not suggested the Budge's gun possession charges are in any way related to that.
Mr Ibrahim's brothers Fadi and Michael were arrested in Dubai as part of that investigation.
Michael is charged with masterminding a drug and tobacco trafficking operation while Fadi is charged with financing a tobacco importation.

Budge is not charged with anything related to the alleged smuggling syndicate and John Ibrahim has not been charged with any offence.

It is known as a 'baby Glock' and is described by its manufacturer as 'the most sought-after concealed carry option since its release in 1994.'

Budge was first linked to Ibrahim about three years ago.
At the time of her arrest she was the managing director of the inner-city restaurant and music venue Crane Bar on Bayswater Road at Kings Cross.
