The Millennium Bunk at Siripuram is all set to achieve a hat-trick of being the country’s No. 1 outlet in selling petrol.
HPCL Chief Regional Manager Pammi Ravisankar told The Hindu that among all the outlets owned by them, Millennium Bunk located at Siripuram in the city sells 13 lakh litres petrol per month. Overall, it is rated among the top 10 bunks in the country in selling all types of fuel.
The strategically-located Millennium Bunk receives a large number of customers every day, and to accommodate the growing footfalls, HPCL opened an additional outlet called Millennium Grand adjacent to the existing bunk. Both outlets have been developed on an area of two acres with a host of amenities like a departmental store, eateries and general service for the vehicles.
HPCL also runs a bunk called Millennium Plus near Petro Park on Port Road and Millennium Classic near Visakh Refinery, Malkapuram, which also boast of high standards. Both do business of 10 lakh and six lakh litres a month respectively.
High footfalls
Millennium Bunk and Millennium Grand register a daily footfall of 11,000 to 12,000 motorists. Put together, the bunks sell fuel worth ₹65 lakh per day. While Millennium Bunk is 15 years old, Millennium Grand is in operation for the past two years. “The continuation of Millennium Bunk as the highest selling retail petrol outlet in the country is a matter of pride for all of us,” Mr. Ravi Sankar said.
