Later, in the evening, during a felicitation function, coach Chandrakant Pandit said that Fazal came up with the idea during the last day of the match. “At tea break, we needed 51 runs to win the Irani Cup. Fazal came to me and said ‘We need to do something for martyrs of the Pulwama attack. With your permission we want to donate the award money'. I am very proud that the team is making a contribution of Rs 25 lakh for the families of the brave-hearts,” said Pandit.
