BHOPAL: Congress-led government would present vote-on-account for its expenses between April and July in a three-day session of state Assembly all set to begin from Monday. The assembly session has been convened to bring vote-on-account as the complete budget would be presented by the government after the Lok Sabha polls.
Information about 727 questions, 167 call attention motions and 8 adjournment motions has come for the session. On the first day of the session, the third supplementary budget along with vote-on- account would be presented. Tributes to martyred CRPF Jawans in Pulwama attack would be also paid at the beginning of the session.
BJP is preparing its strategy to grill the government on the issue of law and order, transfers, farm loan waiver and hailstorm compensation. Legislative affairs minister Govind Bhargava on Sunday called on leader of opposition Gopal Bhargava at his residence to discuss the assembly session.
Bhargava has been slamming the government for the ‘anarchy’ and lawlessness in the state. The Congress, after coming to power, has begun its transfer industry, said Bhargava adding that duration of the Assembly session is too short but all matters would also be raised in the House.
