Just like any other parent, Mrs Morrison battles peak hour traffic to drive to her girls to school each day.
Abbey and Lily still attend the same school in Sydney's south.
The only difference is the drive takes much longer since they moved into Kirribilli House on the other side of city.
Mrs Morrison gets up at 5.45am each morning to shower and organise lunchboxes before running out the door by 7.10 for the hour-long drive to school, which she describes as precious 'talking time' with her daughters.
'I might be the Prime Minister's wife, but I'm still a mum with two young girls and trying to keep things as normal as possible,' Mrs Morrison told 9 Honey.
'I think maybe people picture that your life as the wife of the Prime Minister is glamorous and amazing and exciting. But no… I'm doing the same things everyone else does. It's hard work being a parent.'
Mrs Morrison did note meeting the 'lovely and charming' Prince Harry and his 'very sweet' wife Meghan Markle on their recent Australian tour.

Mrs Morrison did admit the couple aren't always on the same page and disagree on 'a lot' of things.
