20 RWAs to hold march in Gurugram on Sunday for Pulwama jawans

GURUGRAM: Around 20 residents’ welfare associations from ward number 34 will bring out a procession and hold a candlelight vigil on Sunday in memory of the 40 CRPF jawans who were killed in a terrorist attack in Pulwama two days ago.
The march has been organised by E Block Resident Welfare Association of DLF 1. “We will pay homage to the jawans at Arjun Marg market and start a candlelight march. We will take a circuitous route for 500 metres before coming back to the spot where we began,” said Savita Choudhary, the RWA president. The mayor and deputy mayor of Gurugram city will also take part in the march.
The organizers told TOI that the RWA of DLF City Phase 2, Sadbhawana Privar, Gurugram, A Block RWA, Green Avenue RWA Phase 4, IVY RWA Sector 27, Shopping Mall Condominium, G Block RWA, H Block Resident Council, Qutab Plaza Condominium, Sahara Grace Condominium, Heritage City RWA, Garden Villa Resident Association, among others, will take part in the march. “This is being organised to show our respect and solidarity with the CRPF jawans killed in Pulwama on February 14,” she said.
