The mystery, suspense and kitchen sink drama is backed up with a naturally flowing script and domestic detail that is never merely incidental. A kicking soundtrack underscores the David-and-Goliath central plotline, around which are neatly woven interpersonal narratives that speak to the problems and experiences of the less than affluent.

In this especially dramatic landscape, he delves into the strange and dismal history of the crevices of Fiordland National Park, and enlists local experts to reveal treasures lurking on the seabed. The result is a combination of fascinating stories of human and natural survival in this stunning, yet unforgiving part of the world.
