A jewel in North Wales' crown, Conwy Castle is one of the country's most iconic landmarks.

Around 219,000 visit the popular attraction each year and is the most visited tourist spot in Wales.

People flock from across the globe to walk in the footsteps of the many kings that once inhabited the magnificent structure.

The 13th Century fortress boasts a wealth of history and some impressive architecture - even more amazing when you consider the building is around 750 years old.

Fast-forward to 2019, the castle still stands tall and the modern age of the internet means that visitors can now share their experience of the historic building with others.

There are thousands of reviews of Conwy Castle - the majority positive - but there are a few people who didn't rate their trip and left feeling a little short changed - for the most unbelievable reasons.

Following on from our round-up of the most ludicrous reviews of Mount Snowdon , we've compiled some of the most incredible opinions on the Conwy landwark.

Take a look at some of the outrageously ridiculous reviews of Conwy Castle:

1. Because the ruins of Conwy Castle are in ruins -and there wasn't a severed head on display

Apparently Conwy Castle is "not a real castle" because it is already in ruins.  And because they didn't do their research, this visitor claims it is "really misleading".

And regarding the Kings Head?  This reviewer was less than pleased because she "was expecting a real head".

The absence of a severed head really disappointed this visitor

2. It wasn't the castle from Disney's Frozen

This man's daughter was left disappointed because Conwy Castle is "nothing like the castle from Frozen" and to add insult to injury, there weren't any princesses there either...

Conwy Castle is not made from ice

3. Because there was no toilet roll

Although the reviewer thought the castle was "amazing", it lost four stars because the 13th Century fortress had ran out of toilet paper.

This reviewer had a great time...until they were caught short

4. Because you can't turn up unannounced in your wedding dress and get married there

This couple and their wedding party in full attire were furious after turning up without warning expecting to be able to use it as their wedding venue...

They spoiled this woman's wedding plans apparently

5. It was old and drafty and didn't have a roof

One visitor seemed to think the castle would benefit from central heating... and a roof.

This person thought the experience would have benefit from a central heating system

6. Because they couldn't find the door

This visitor couldn't figure out where the entrance to the 70ft tall castle was and ended up in the toilets before giving up.

They couldn't find the door

7. Because they spoke Welsh in Wales

I mean, how dare the Welsh use their native language in their own country in front of visitors!

It's about 20% of people that speak Welsh my friend, not 5%

8. Because the castle embraced modern technology

This parent was livid by the fact the castle implemented an AR experience to engage visitors and her kids enjoyed playing it.

This reviewer didn't appreciate the use of technology

Although we have to question why the parents in this situation simply didn't make their kids leave their devices behind...but that's none of our business...
