Rajnath accuses Pakistan of engineering Pulwama terror attack

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today accused Pakistan of engineering Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a public meeting on the outskirts of Bhadrak here, the Home Minister said, the neighbouring country, which has been patronising terrorism, backed the attack after realising that frustration and desperation had grown among the terrorists due to successful operations against them by the Indian forces in the past five years.

Asserting that the security forces have been given a free hand to give a befitting reply to the attack, Mr Singh said, the sacrifice of CRPF jawans would not go in vain.

He said all political parties have pledged full support to the government and the defence forces. The Home Minister said, the entire nation stands behind the Army, who would certainly teach the enemy a lesson.
