There were upsets galore as the tussle for ascendancy was truly spirited in various age categories of the ISA Junior Open Circuit I, a two-star national event, here on Friday.

Among the upset results, the most striking was the fall of Shreemann Raghavan, the top seed. He fell at the hands of Navaneeth S Prabhu, a 3/4 seed, in the boys U-17 section. Similarly, in the girls U-15 category, S Akshya Sri (3/4 seed) ousted top seed R Pooja Aarthi.
