The reactions of politicians are often the best indicator that elections are round the corner! A case in point is how a national BJP leader went overboard responding to the charges made by the son of an actor-turned-politician recently.

The budding politician of the state party, whose father is undergoing treatment, made a chest-thumping statement, recently that favourable conditions would emerge for the party and their party would be much sought-after in the state despite his father staying away from active politics for a while now. He further said that all the political parties would seek alliance with them and the situation would be witnessed soon.

The claims of the budding politician created a rumble in the political circles as one section of politicians criticised him for his over-ambitious speech and a few others dismissed it as an immature statement. However, BJP leaders took the comment seriously.

A national BJP leader responded by saying that relationship between alliance parties should be like pillars and both pillars should stand tall. “If one of the pillars is weak, the structure will collapse.”
