Ujjain: Martyrs hailed, perpetrators condemned; anger & protest spill on city roads

Ujjain: The cowardly killings of 44 innocent jawans of CRPF in Pulwama by a terrorist of Jaish-e-Mohammed on Thursday shook everyone in the city. On Friday many organisations, schools and other institutions paid tribute to the martyrs and demanded a strict action against Pakistan. Over a dozen effigies of Pakistan and the terrorists were burnt in the city with resentment.

Congress party condemned the killings of the jawans in Pulawama and demanded a strict action against Pakistan. The members of the party organised a condolence meeting and paid tributes to the martyrs. The BJP condemned the act of killings of jawans and demanded strict action against Pakistan.

MLA Mohan Yadav, Anil Jain Kaluheda, Sachin Saxena, Amit Shrivastava, Amey Apte and other leaders were present; this information was provided by co-media-in-charge Dinesh Jatwa. Shivsena members in the leadership of district head Dheeraj Thakur burnt effigy of Pakistan at Dewasgate and condemned the terrorist act of Jaish-e-Mohammad. On this occasion other members were also present.

Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad members on Friday at 11.30 am burnt an effigy of terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed and demanded a strong action against Pakistan and its terror outfits. Members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) gathered at Shaheed Park and raised slogans against Pakistan and terrorist group.

The members took out a candle march and burnt an effigy of Pakistan. A memorandum was also submitted to the administration. District secretary Manish Rawal told that the cowardly act of terrorists is condemnable and VHP demanded strict action against the offenders.

On this occasion district head Ashok Jain Chaiwala, acting state president Anil Kasliwal, Mahesh Tiwari, Awdheshpuri Maharaj and other members were also present. Similarly Bhartiya Janata Party members and Bhartya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in the leadership of district head Vivek Joshi burnt effigy of Pakistan and terrorism.

Joshi told that Karni Sena also condemned the terrorist act and took out a rally. The members gathered at Tower Chowk and raised slogans against Pakistan. In the leadership of the state head Urmilasingh Tomar and hundreds of women were also present there.

Sadbhavana mach head also organised a tribute meeting at Gudari Chouharaha and remembered the soldiers by lighting up candles. On this occasion head of the organisation Yogesh Saad and other members were present. Jain community paid tribute to the jawans who killed in the Pulwama attack. Awanti Teerth Pratishtha Mahotsava Committee converner Kushalraj Goleccha told that jain seers with ‘navkar mantra chanting.

Chimanganj Krishiupaj Mandi members observed silence and paid homage to the soldiers. Mandi committee secretary Rajesh Goyal and Mohanlal Purohit with all the members criticised the act of militancy. Sindhi Samaj registered its protest and torched an effigy of Pakistan at Sindhi Colony square. Deepak Belan informed that on this occasion mayor Meena Jonwal, corporation Rinku Belani, MLA Mohan Yadav and other members of Sindhi Community were present.

Jan akrosh rally organised

Many organisation will take out jan akrosh rally and build a human chain on Saturday. Head organisor Shailendra Kulmi told that the rally will be taken out from Shaheed Park and will end at Tower chowk where a human chain will be built. A memorandum will also be handed over addressing to the president to take strict action against Pakistan.

Rupantaran Sanstha and Ujjainwale donate Rs 51k

Rupantaran Sanstha and Ujjainwale Facebook groups have donated Rs 51000 to strengthen the army. The cheque of the amount was handed over to the collector on Friday. Saral Kayanjali members paid tribute to jawans killed in Pulwama attack. On this occasion Hardyalsingh Thakur, Santosh Supekdar, Nitin Poll and other members of the organisation condemned the act and observed silence.
