Hours after Pakistan briefed Ambassadors of the P5 countries of the United Nations Security Council on the Pulwama terror attack, India hit back saying that Islamabad’s demand for investigation is “preposterous”.
A statement from the Ministry of External Affairs said that Pakistan is not in a position to deny its responsibility in the attack in Pulwama that was claimed by Jaish-e-Mohammed.
“..the demand for an investigation is preposterous when there is a video of the suicide bomber declaring himself a member of the JeM. There are also other audio-visual and print material linking JeM to the terrorist attack. We have therefore no doubt that the claim is firmly established,” said the Official Spokesperson of the MEA.
The Spokesperson said that Pakistan has not taken any constructive approach so far.
