Headmistress's gold chain snatched in TN

MADURAI: Police have launched a hunt for three youths who snatched the gold chain of the headmistress of a primary school near Usilampatti in Madurai district of Tami Nadu.
M Rajalakshmi, 50, was taking class at Vaiyathan village primary school when three youths approached her recently under the pretext of looking for an address. They gave her a piece of paper in which an address was written. When she was looking into it, the trio took her by surprise and snatched her gold chain weighing seven sovereigns.
Based on her complaint, the Vikkaramangalam police registered a case.
