PM Narendra Modi to flag off Pune-Ajni-Humsafar Express

PUNE: To provide better facilities to passengers, the Ministry of Railways has decided to run Humsafar Express between Pune and Ajni. The train will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday through a video link.

Pune Railway Division Spokesperson Manoj Kumar Jhawar informed, “Train number 22139 Pune-Ajni Humsafar Express will be regularised from February 23 from Pune and Train Number 22140 Ajni-Pune Humsafar Express will be regularised from February 24 from Ajni.”

The train will halt at Daund, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Bhusawal, Akola, Badnera and Wardha stations. The express train will have 13 three-tier air conditioned coaches as well as two SLR coaches.

Train number 22139 Pune-Ajni Humsafar Express will depart from Pune at 10 pm every Saturday and arrive Ajni at 1.15 pm the next day. Similarly, Train number 22140 Ajni-Pune Humsafar Express will depart at 7.50 pm every Sunday and arrive in Pune at 11.45 am every Monday.

A special Humsafar Express will be flagged off by Prime Minister (PM) Narendra  Modi via video link on Saturday from Ajni with Train number 01414 at 11 am. The train will halt at Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Chalisgaon, Manmad and Daund. The train will arrive in Pune at 4.05 am.

TRAINS TO HALT AT MIRZAPUR
The railway has decided to halt train number 121249/50 Pune-Danapur-Pune Superfast Express at Mirzapur Station for six months on an experimental basis. The train will halt only two minutes at Mirzapur Station.

TRAINS TO HALT AT KHANAPUR
The Indian Railways has decided to halt eight trains at Khanapur station for one minutes from March 5. These trains are: Train number 16532/31 Bangalore-Ajmer-Bangalore Weekly Garib Nawaz Express, Train number 16534/33 Bangalore-Bhagat ki Kothi-Bangalore, train number 11097/98 Pune-Ernakulam-Pune and 11303/04 Manuguru-Kolhapur-Manuguru Hyderabad Express will halt at Khanapur station.

FELICITATED
The Central Railways has felicitated Pune Railway Division’s Assistant Commercial Manager Sanjay Kumar and Section Engineer in Miraj Station Umashankar Upadhyay with Rajbhasha award. The felicitation was done at Zonal Office in Mumbai by Devendra Kumar Sharma, General Manager, CR.
