12-yr-old girl reported missing

The police have booked unidentified persons for allegedly kidnapping a minor girl from Old Madhopuri. In her complaint, the 12-year-old girl’s mother, Meera, said her daughter Poonam, who used to work as a housemaid in the area, went for work at 2pm on Saturday, but did not return home. She added that she apprehended someone had kidnapped her. Division 3 police have registered a case under Section 346 of the Indian Penal Code. Police are yet to identify and arrest the accused.
Man held with 210g heroin

The Haibowal police have booked a man for drug peddling. The accused has been identified as Anil Kumar of Ladian Kalan village. Investigating officer Rampal said they received a tip-off, while a team was patrolling near the village, that the accused was selling heroin in the area. The cops nabbed the accused and recovered 210g heroin from him, and registered a case against the accused under sections 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act. Police have also seized the motorcycle of the accused.

Scooter stolen from market

Model Town police have booked unidentified persons for allegedly stealing the motorcycle of an Azad Nagar resident. In his complaint, 28-year-old Sahil said on Sunday, he had parked his scooter outside Krishna Mandir Market at 4pm, but when he returned after sometime, his bike was missing from the spot. Police have registered a case under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The cops are yet to identify and arrest the suspects.
