Suspect in custody after US Netflix scare forces lockdown
Los Angeles: Netflix's Hollywood campus was evacuated over a report of a person with a deadly weapon on the roof of the company's building.
Authorities were called to the scene just before 4pm on Thursday (11am Friday, AEDT) over a man who possibly had a gun.
A suspect was arrested, though the person did not end up being armed, a representative for the police department said.
An evacuation and lockdown at Netflix and neighbouring TV station KTLA ended shortly afterwards.
"We received a tip about a potential law enforcement incident," Netflix said in a statement.
"Police are conducting a sweep of the lot out of an abundance of caution. There is no immediate danger or threat to our employees," it said.
