The Centre’s General Manager, Alan Pryor, shared “We are delighted to be back at AIME, it’s always a great way to kick-off the new year, especially after the busy and successful year we had in 2018. Australia continues to be an important market for us and we are particularly pleased to have recently been selected as the venue of choice to host the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists Annual Scientific Meeting 2019 and 5th Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Congress (APGC) 2020.”

He continued, “We are a proud and active member of the AEG Ogden family, which is well represented in Australia by high-profile local venues such as the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Cairns Convention Centre, Darwin Convention Centre and ICC Sydney. We often collaborate with our sister venues sharing knowledge, best practice models and business leads.”

“Of particular kudos is our recent bid win to host the ISMRM (International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine) 27th Annual Meeting & Exhibition in 2024,” added Pryor. The Centre’s sister venue, ICC Sydney, will host ISMRM in 2020, which demonstrates the value proposition of the AEG Ogden Advantage and its renowned global team expertise across its portfolio of venues.
