Trains will be affected due to upgradation of Railways’ system

PUNE: The Railways is upgrading its system, making subways and redeveloping the stations. Due to this, movement of several trains will be affected on the Pune-Kolhapur, Solapur and Bengaluru routes.

As per the information provided by the Railways, Train Number 12169/70 Pune-Solapur-Intercity Express will be cancelled from February 16 to March 31 and Train Number 17014/13 Hyderabad-Pune-Hyderabad Express will run upto Kurduwadi till April 1, due to mega block observed between Daund and Kurduwadi stations under Solapur division.

Train number 11301/02 CSMT-Bangalore Udyan Express will run up to Yelahanka till May 20 due to modification work at Bangalore junction. Due to the construction of subway near Palsi and Jarandeshwar stations on February 17, Train Number 51409/10 Pune-Kolhapur-Pune Passenger Train will be cancelled between Pune and Satara. Similarly, Train Number 11030 UP Koyna Express will be held up for one hour between Kolhapur and Satara stations.

CHANGE IN TIMINGS OF TRAINS
- The Railways has changed the timing of a few trains from February 16. As per the information provided, Train number 12116 Solapur-Mumbai Siddheshwar Express will arrive at 2.50 am instead of 3 am and will depart at 2.55 am and arrive in Mumbai at 6.35 am instead of 6.50 am. 
- Similarly, Train Number 17412 Kolhapur-Mumbai Mahalaxmi Express will arrive in Mumbai at 7.35 am instead of 7.25 am, Train Number 16588 Bikaner-Yesvantpur Express will arrive at Pune junction at 2.10 am instead of 2.30 am from February 17.
