Amarish Karnik is the new channel chief for Veeam in India.
We are delighted to confirm that Amarish Karnik has joined Veeam India from 15th February 2019, the official company statement confirmed exclusively to ChannelWorld India.
Karnik based out of Mumbai has joined as the channel director, India and SAARC at Veeam Software.
Prior to joining Veeam, Karnik built a successful channel business for Nutanix India, during his three-year stint as director- General Business and Partners for the region.
Karnik has over fifteen years of experience in senior business management and leadership roles for major IT companies including Citrix, Cisco, Avaya and Nutanix. He was the national manager for channels and alliances at Citrix India before joining Nutanix in February 2016.
Partners play a crucial role in helping realize the true value of Veeam’s Availability solutions to drive the always-on enterprise. Amarish will further strengthen and execute Veeam’s channel partner program in India and SAARC region to empower customers in accelerating their digital transformation journey with Veeam’s Availability Platform.

Karnik is responsible for driving growth of business operations in India and SAARC region at Veeam. He also focuses on market development, expanding solutions offerings to customers and will work with Karnik to further strengthen the Veeam partner network and footprint in India and SAARC region.
Veeam has operated 100 percent through the channel and the company’s success in the market can largely be attributed to this approach. Karnik will continue to address the evolving demands of businesses in driving the data availability for the always-on enterprise.
