Court declares 3 realtors ‘proclaimed offenders’

Picture for representational purpose onlyGURUGRAM: Three directors of Universal Buildwell Private Limited were declared proclaimed offenders by a local court on Friday for allegedly cheating homebuyers. The court also issued an arrest warrant against them.
The trio — Raman Puri, Vikram Puri and Varun Puri — is on the run. They not only sold the same flat to two buyers but also did not give possession to many buyers in Universal Aura project in Sector 82.
“Our teams are conducting raids in various areas of Delhi and Gurugram,” said ASI Subhash Bokan, spokesperson of Gurugram police.
An FIR was registered under relevant sections at Shivaji Nagar police station.
