Ceremonious conclusion of Sport Meet
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, A three-day annual sports meet was organized at AISECT. In the annual competition, participants have played cricket,Volleyball, Chess, Badminton and Carom and showed their talent.
All the affiliated institutes of AISECT have participated with enthusiasm and in this event organized by AISECT Headquarters. A total of 12 teams from different departments of AISECT have participated in the cricket competition.
In the final match, Venkat Raman Iyer’s Team of AISECT headquarters won by defeating Vishnu Raikwar’s team. While batting first, Vishnu’s team has set a target of 69 runs in 20 over match, which was achieved by Venkat Raman’s team on first ball of the 12th over. Parvez Ansari was awarded as a man of the match in the final match.
Man of the Series was awarded to Brajesh Dwivedi. Winning team’s captain, Venkat Raman Iyer, received the winning trophy with his team members. In Badminton both groups of males and females,
48 participants performed in their matches. In which Mamlesh Karma and Dharmaveer Negi remained first while Rakesh Verman and Sanju Bhalse stood on second. Similarly, in the female category, Pinky Raghuvanshi and Roshni Gaur stood on first position and Meenakshi Dayal and Sushmita Upadhyay remained on second position.
