Pulwama terror attack: Nitish Kumar says country will give a 'befitting reply'

PATNA: Condemning the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday said the martyrdom of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men would not go in vain and he has a firm belief that the country would give a “befitting reply” to the perpetrators.
Talking to media persons in the premises of Bihar assembly where proceedings were adjourned till 2pm after the MLAs observed a two-minute silence to mourn the killings of CRPF men at 11am, Nitish said the entire nation is united against the cowardly attack on the CRPF convoy.
Flanked by former education minister Ashok Choudhary and JD(U) MLC Dilip Choudhary, Nitish said, “I strongly condemn the terrorist attack. The nation stands united against the terrorists and I have a firm belief that a befitting reply will be given. My condolence to the bereaved family members. The martyrdom of the slain soldiers will not go in vain.”
