Pune Warriors lift title at Doctors Premier League

Pune: Dinesh Chavan did the star act which helped Pune Warriors register a victory over MPAMK Mumbra and lift the title of the  Doctors Premier League Cricket Championship which was played at  Nehru Stadium ground.

An all round performance by Dinesh Chavan was instrumental in Pune Warriors’ win. 

Dinesh’s crucial 23 runs and a wicket taking spell steered Pune Warriors to win by three wickets.

Batting first, MPAMK Mubra managed to score 131 runs in 15 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Pune Warriors fought back after loosing wickets in crucial moments of the match, achieving the target in 13.3 overs. Batting performances by Krishnanad Tiwari (33 runs), Pranit Bikkad (20 runs) and Dinesh Chavan (23 runs) helped Pune Warriors clinch the title.
