HYDERABAD: Union minister of state for external affairs, V K Singh has said the Kashmir terror attack would be avenged.
In his reaction on twitter following the killing of 18 CRPF jawans in Pulwama on Thursday by a terror group which has claimed responsibility, the former army chief said: "As a soldier and a citizen of India, my blood boils at the spineless and cowardly attacks. 18 brave hearts from the @crpfindia laid down their lives in #Pulwama. I salute their selfless sacrifice & promise that every drop of our soldiers blood will be avenged. #JaiHind."
It may be mentioned here that the Pakistan terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad has claimed responsibility for the attack in Kashmir. It also said Adil Ahmad Dar executed the attack on CRPF jawans.
Many took to social media urging the centre for a repeat of the surgical strikes in response to the attack on CRPF men in Kashmir on Thursday.
Several people have also shared screen shots of those who reacted with the laughter reacting to reports in the media which broke the news of the terror attack in Kashmir in which the CRPF jawan were killed.
One Roshan Rai who tweeted from the handle @roshanKrRai found a tweet by someone by name Basim Hilal who eulogised the Kashmir attack. He tweeted from the handle @_us1.
“How’s the Jaish? Great Sir,” Basim Hilal tweeted, taking it off from the dialogue “How’s the Josh? Great Sir,” in the film “Uri: The Surgical Strike”. The film was about how the Indian government carried out surgical strikes in Pakistan following the Uri attack by terrorists.
"This man apparently studies mathematics at AMU. This b*****d should be immediately arrested and charged with sedition. Yes this is sedition," Roshan Rai said in response to Basim Hilal’s tweet. He also posted screen shots of Hilal’s twitter account in which he mentions himself as a cricket enthusiast. He mentions that he is studying mathematics at AMU. He gives his location at Beerwah, Jammu and Kashmir.
Following Roshan Rai tagging Delhi police and UP police and asking them to take immediate action, Basim Hilal converted his account to a protected account.
Basim Hilal’s other account @_usi2 on twitter showed a display. “Account withheld,” it said. It was explained that the account ‘has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand’.
Roshan Rai who kept track of Hilal’s activity on twitter then posted: "Account protected, AMU removed from bio, tweet deleted and account deactivated."
